CNC machines and other specific numeric control devices operate on a principle called Cartesian Motion, which involves movement in three directions: X, Y, and Z. Each axis is driven by an open loop stepper, closed loop stepper, or servo motor. The motion control board sends pulse and direction signals to the motors. Additionally, various electronics such as sensors, end stops, and decoders are involved in the process to help the control system understand the physical system.

Another favorite of ours is IoT, or connecting things though the internet. Connecting our manufacturing machines so they can be controlled remotely.
